Constitution Day

September 17th, 2011 is Constitution Day.  For those who like to plan ahead and use holidays as a building block for homeschool lessons, I thought I would post this early to allow for planning.

The Bill of Rights Institute is a great site for information regarding the American Bill of Rights and the Constitution.  There is a wealth of information to be found on this site :  lesson plans, quizzes / games, Supreme Court cases, headlines (current events), information on our founding fathers, and much more.

Also, don't forget about the American Heritage Education Foundation and the free k-12 lessons found there.
