My youngest sometimes gets overlooked. She gets sent away to play quietly while the older kids are having a lesson at the same time she wants to play "karaoke." She's herded around when it comes to leaving for sports practices or appointments and field trips. And sometimes, at the end of the day, she has to read Mom a story instead of the other way around because Mom is just too tired to read about the house that Jack built for a third time.
So, its nice when I can find some toddler / preschool friendly websites. I can then call my daughter in with me and we can enjoy some fun time together on the computer. She feels important because she's doing something "big" and Mom likes it because it really doesn't involve any planning or glue and glitter messes.
The Lil-fingers site is a nice one to go to for this time. You can listen to a story book, play a game, or print off coloring pages. And, its put together just for the younger crowd.
