Homeschool Literature Curriculum for High School

For those of you familiar with a classical education as outlined in A Well Trained Mind by Susan Wise-Bauer, you know that it covers history in a 4 year cycle.  If you use this cycle (or even if you don't) you may be interested in Worldview Academy's website, the Great Books.

The Great Books website is an outline and curriculum for teaching high school level literature using classical and well known books and weighing them against a Christian worldview.  The course is outlined complete with the list of books and other resources, study guides, and exams.  The actual course outline and assignments are viewable for free while the books and study guides can be purchased through their site (though, many of the literature selections are probably available at the library).  If you aren't interested in the full curriculum, the study guides may still interest you.

Just glancing at this resource, I was happy with how it was laid out and scheduled for you by what should be accomplished each week.  I also thought that it looked as though it was meaty, in depth, offered lots of opportunities for discussion, and was a well thought out literature study with plenty of challenging reading.
