Hands On Government Lessons

Our government has been in the news a lot lately.  In my state, teaching "Government" is a yearly requirement.  One great way to teach the subject is with experience.  Teen Pact is a hands-on, government leadership experience.  Classes are offered for kids aged 8-19.  A one day course is offered for 8-12 year olds while 13-19 year olds can attend a four day class or a public speaking class.  What a great way to involve your kids in learning the role of government!

Teen Pact is a Christian program which involves "spiritual discipleship, student leadership, and parental involvement" as the websites states.  This program not only encourages our young people to be the leadership of tomorrow, but they do it through the encouragement of their faith.  Take a look and see if they offer classes in your state.
